When my Dad died years ago on Dec. 23, I planted a red twig dogwood in his memory to stand out from the other trees in the winter, but a hurricane took it away. Your Red Bark monkey sock reminds me of that tree. Your December pictures (steaming latte, cozy hat on a special man and a tribute to DF and his music, lots of warm socks, candlelight and kitties) have been a calm haven for me in a chaotic month. Today is for quiet reflection.
Merry, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year of knitting and spinning!
I finished the second 'Christmas Monkey' last night. They are a little small for me so I think they will be a belated Christmas present for my friend Megan.
I think I might make the next pair of Monkeys in 'Lagoon'.....
