Friday's Flowers: Babette's Garden

My mom has the most spectacular garden! It's truly a feast of colors and textures that keeps one intrigued and delighted with every step and turn. Her roses are amazing! She has such fun going to the market and picking out just the right plant for just the right spot! She nurtures all her "babies" with such care that they have no choice but to bloom and grow with the utmost exuberance! You can certainly see where my sister inherited her green thumbs.

My mom's garden is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the day A paradise within a zipcode. I hope you enjoyed meandering through her Shangri-la! She'd be delighted to have you stop by anytime!

Wow Gail, your flower photos are absolutely amazing! There always seems to be a light breeze when I attempt those macro shots of things outside.

Wow! I don't think I've seen pictures of our botanical garden looking as lovely as these!
Your mother has a gift for gardening and you have a gift for capturing it on film!

Sure would like to see Tina come out with a colorway like picture #6 from the top!

Wow. They are really beautiful - What an interesting shot of lupine!

I love roses. We have to bury ours every winter if they are tea/hybrids. My favorite (Evelyn) did not make it through the winter one year and I've been looking for another one ever since. To no avail.

Love love LOVE your photos.
