I've not been resting on my laurels, nor has any grass been growing under my feet. Progress has indeed been made on the second Gumdrop sock! Yippy skippy! I've just started to turn the heel (short row; St st). I heart this pattern!!
If you're curious about the needles: I'm knitting the sock using the magic loop. While doing the heel, I keep the instep st on the circular needle and work the heel on dpn at least one size smaller than the circ needle.

Goody goody gumdrops! My heart is doing flip flops....sorry this song always pops in my head whenever I see/think about these socks...I blame Tina :)
