A Sock in Seattle

We spent a couple of days in Seattle last week. We spent quite a bit of time walking around the waterfront and checking out the Public Market. Did you know that the vendors close down and take away their wares every night? EVERY. Night. We saw the empty market on one of our early morning walks. Empty. A very strange sight, indeed.

After a long day of walking around Seattle, we quenched our thirst with an Arnold Palmer in the hotel bar. The light was great. You know what came next, don'tcha?!

It cracks me up that the bar staff apparently think it perfectly normal to whip out a sock and to take pictures of it! One Cleopatra's Stocking is finished, and its mate is well on its way to completion!

Happy Monday! And for those that celebrate Labor Day, I hope you're having a great holiday!
