“Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree”
Emily Brontë
It was a bee-u-tiful weekend here in the Pacific Northwest.
The mornings were brisk, the days clear and lovely, and the evening sun was as golden as the freshly fallen leaves.
The shadows are getting longer, and the sun is sinking from view earlier and earlier.
It's time to pull on these socks and settle in for the chillier days ahead.
Happy Monday!

De-lurking to say, holy cow I love that first picture! Just gorgeous. If you ever decide to sell prints of your photography, be sure to mention it here. (And the socks are beautiful, too!)
The light in your photography is truly golden, I am a bit jealous as the light in Southern California is so harsh, (it is beginning to soften a bit). I really like the first photo with the trapped leaf - very artsy.
I agree...you were given the most perfect light to work with - wasn't this weekend just stunning? I think it was one of the most perfect days ever! And your photos are AMAZING as always! :)
Here's to warm toes,
toasty fires
steaming bowls of stew,
crusty warm bread
and loads and loads of lovely knitting.
Wow! Best photo of a chain link fence ever!
I am really tempted to go to Twisted and check out the new BMFA but I really, really shouldn't afford it. Ugh, why can't yarn grow on trees? Finished my most recent Monkeys and cast on some more..we should have some coffee later this week?
Wow. Wow. Wow. Socks and autumn. You captured them perfectly!!
