The first Leyburn is nearly complete. I'm doing a K2P1 cuff, with the purl stitches in line with the peak/trough of each lattice. I also went down a needle size to cinch it up a wee bit more.
This pattern is great. If you're on Ravelry, you must go peek at all the Leyburns being knit in different colors of STR! Oh my. Go now...I'll still be here when you're done ogling! They are a sight to behold...every single sock is stunningly gorgeous. This is a perfect pattern for showing off multicolored yarn.
I hope you all have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend! Knit on!

I'm also doing the Leyburn KAL (in Gingerbread Dude)! I really like the way your cuff looks. I did the cuff for my first sock in k1, p1 rib like the pattern says, but I don't really like the way it looks. I think maybe I'll pull it back and try your cuff instead.
Beautiful! I just joined the KAL, inspired partly by you. I'm top down, and played with a different cuff, too...isn't it fun to customize?
Happy weekend to you too! Gorgeous Leyburns. I might have mine done by the weekend, they're rolling along so fast!
that's gorgeous. you are really making me realize all the STR yarn i have in my stash just --- sitting.
i promise myself to knit with it more this year.
The k2p1 cuff is perfect! I may have to do that on my next Leyburn...this pattern is so quick and so pretty with STR!!
I love the magic that Tina's colors create in slip-stitch designs! And you are making me long for Autumn again before we've even finished winter!
Hmmm... K2P1 or picot? At least I'll have a bit to decide. I have to finish a different sock before I cast on my Leyburns (in Hobgoblin) for the KAL.
