We had our very own Guardasaurus at the booth at the Madrona Fiber Arts Winter Retreat. When pet, he growled...then purred. Very cute!
The days were full...
Early to wake, work-out, dress and have breakfast before the show started!
Gingerbread french toast...yum.
The market was a blur of color
and sound as people hustled and bustled to make their purchases, go to class
and just sit and visit among the colorscape.
Chocolate bread pudding (and a wee spot of Guinness) shared by four friends at the close of the show.
It was another wonderful winter retreat and it was nice to rekindle acuaintances from last year. Sadly, I have no new yarn stash to share...none. Nada. I was fondling three skeins of STR for the whole weekend, and at the end decided that I just needed to work on some projects already in the queue. I think I better check for a fever. Alas, I know where to go when I change my mind!
It's back to work this morning. No gingerbread french toast. Reality is settling in. Until next year...
Happy Tuesday!

Found your blog via koto-chan/knittingsiamese. What a lovely visual feast! Look forward to returning.
The Guardasaurus is just too adorable. I admire your purchasing restraint!
But wait! You didn't want Tina to pay you in yarn? ;) Love Guardasaurus & OMG on that chocolate bread pudding!
Wow. I don't know if I would have had the strength to walk away from that yarn purchase.
Yum yum food!
Gingerbread. French. Toast. *drool* I've gotta find some of that. Maybe I'll have to see about a visit to Madrona next year. Too bad hubby isn't itching to move to Seattle any more.
Wow! No stash enhancement? I am blown away... very, very impressed:) I will try to emulate your good example.
The dinosaur is great..are those cute little baby sweaters I spy next to him?
Oh dear...sorry for the typo...I do know how to spell "acquaintances"...Sorry 'bout that! I was missing the gingerbread french toast, me thinks!
Looks like a fun and delicious time was had by all! Maybe next year...
Wait...this couldn't be NK's blog?! No yarn?! No STR?! Did Tina stop putting the addictive drugs in the yarn?!
I hope NOT to be like you next week at stitches....well, except for the speedy knitting and yummy foods!! That I shall try to emulate!
Looks like you all had a fabulous time!!
