When you were growing up, do you remember how your mom admonished you for playing with your food at the dinner table?
I don't think I'm grown up yet. At least by the "playing with food" standard!
I joke that my family wouldn't recognize me if I didn't have my knitting
(or camera) in my hands. Even at the fanciest of eating establishments.
I'm not shy.
Even with all the shooting going on, I still got the heel turned and the gusset markers placed over a quick meal out on the town (i.e. favorite cafe, and yes...something more substantial preceeded the sweet stuff...I readily learned the lesson about having dessert only after finishing everything on my dinner plate)!
AI: I'm still gaga over Adam, and he did not dissappoint last night. I think Simon is sabotaging Allison with his negative remarks about things other than her singing. I don't care if she may not exude the same level of confidence as the more seasoned crooners...she's only just turned 17. I like her, and I thought she sounded wonderful last night and I bet she goes home (Boo) because of Simon's negativity. I hope not. Fingers are crossed it'll be Matt.
Oh look! We're done, done, done!!
Time to dash! Have a fabulous and sweet Wednesday!

mmmm, breakfast ice cream.
So sinful! and speaking of sin, those citrines are so gorgeous, they should be considered a sin.
Wow! I so need to knit that pattern this summer.
I've been looking at the citrine, and thinking of the frosted orange drop cookies from the old Betty Crocker Cooky Book...
I totally agree about poor Allison. I'd say she has tons of charisma and stage presence for being 17.
I will be very surprised if Adam does not win.
I'm totally not a grown up yet and I still play with my food (if you count moving it around on the plate so everything looks pretty).
Citrine socks and dessert look yummy!
You were at my fav place again......They must know you by name now!
That looks delicious!!!!
Well, looks like Simon's criticism for Allison and Kris worked out for them (I always think when he's too harsh, then their fans vote more). I'm okay with Matt going home. And if you need me to call for Adam next week, I will. I love you that much :)
What a lovely post.
