blue on blue

The beautiful Rimefrost socks are finished! Yippy skippy! They've actually been finished for a little while now, and have been waiting patiently for their photoshoot!

What better way to herald their completeness than with a diptych (click it for a larger view)featuring their namesake from this past winter adorning a remnant of Queen Anne's Lace, no less.

The pattern is exquisite. I love the yarn...I'm totally turned on to fingering weight yarn now...of which my stash is woefully barren...you know what that could mean?! Mmm-hmm.

And surprise! Look who's joining in the fun and games!

The Keukenhof Sok is also finished. I love it, too. Both socks fit beautifully!

Thank you Anne for letting me test knit these beauties! :)

These socks were a pure joy to knit.

And what better way to move seamlessly from May into June

than with a little bit of overflowing joy!

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Both socks are beautiful, but the Rimefrost takes my breath away!

Were you not a fingering weight sock knitter before? I'm still not...yet.

What a test-knitting goddess you are!

I find it hard to believe that you are missing fingering weight in your stash with all the socks I've seen completed. What are you waiting for? Get shopping! :)

Your stash is barren? How is this possible?
