Max was helping me in the wool room. Help...distract...help...distract...you know how it goes!!
The socks, you ask? Ahhhh....aren't they gorgeous!? My mom made those many years ago. She is quite the knitter. She does beautiful needlepoint, too.
I think she made these for my dad. Every stitch is perfect.
Max was quite impressed (me, too!!).
It's been a busy week...but a good week, I think I'm caught up and can get back to regularly scheduled knitting and blogging biz!
We went to the Michael Jackson movie on Sunday evening. Oh my. If you have a chance to see it before it leaves the theaters, I'd highly recommend it. Phenomenal.
That's all I've got for now! Happy Tuesday!

We have an orange cat that could be Max's brother (nice portrait, by the way)! His name is Murphy...13 years and still going.
All you've got? Sweet furry feet and sublime stitches for a happy Tuesday indeed! Socks are an art form w u G!
You have a wool room? Awesome!
Now we know where you get your talent. And your Max is a cutie!
Your mother is a knitter extrordinaire.I really like grey, there is something soothing and familiar with wool that color. Max is adorable, we have Mimi...and she is quite the helper too.
Wow, the socks are magnificant!
Max reminds me of my childhood cat, Whistle. seriously. twins.
really, the MJ movie? i had written it off but may consider. i am interested now.
The socks are so beautiful, I never knew that home made socks hold up so well (I've only been knitting them for a little over a year now). Isn't it nice to have kitty's to help us show off our knits.
oh gosh, those socks are so cool . . . i could practically feel them, yum.
Those are lovely socks. I love the little kitty paws pic too. It's nice to get warm fuzzies before I start my hectic day at work.
OHHHHHH!!! Maximus!!! Most lovely kitty feet picture and very nice pose with face shot! What a dude! Mom is an awesome knitter! Woo hoo hoo!
What is that sock pattern?! It is stunning, as is the needlework itself. Simply gorgeous!
Your Max looks just like my Linus. He is also a great knitting helper. Beautiful blog.
