In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.

These are but just a few of the sights I saw on a recent walk down a rural road. I thought I'd share them with you today...Earth Day.
I hope you will be able to take a brief moment today, look around you, and celebrate.
I conceive that the land belongs to a vast family of which many are dead,
few are living, and countless numbers are still unborn.

A lovely trio of seeds...perfect for earth day!
This is all so beautiful-- an interesting grid-- and the sepia launching pad is divine-- as is the earth.
I'm sad I didn't do something bloggy for Earth Day, but I did appreciate it very much, without thinking about it.
Thank you Gail for images and quotes!
By the way, congrats at catching those seeds so sharp in flight!
Excellent photos!
That dandelion photo kicks butt. Not very poetic, but gets my point across. What a fantastic shot!
For the first time in my life, I have been spending time in my garden doing nothing. Nothing at all. Just sitting on a piece of wood, listening, watching, noticing - like you with your camera. Really enjoying the small things. Maybe this year's garden WILL be something special.
