We had a great weekend, how 'bout you?
We went to an encaustic art show that was part of the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts this past weekend. Our friend Karl had some wonderful pieces in it...and he won some fabulous awards in the juried portion of the show. This is big. We are so proud of him!! He's a rockstar!!
We left off last week with a glimpse of a new sock. I modified the original pattern by replacing the cuff with a picot cuff.
There are also some purl ridges in it...do you know what pattern it is yet?
I love the colors of this rare gem...the lavender just pops out!
One more clue. You know it now...right?
It's the Slip Jig sock designed by the wonderful Carrie...I knit it awhile back (although I still owe you an FO shoot!). It was the March RSC pattern...so not available for another year,
but, oh so worth the wait!!
I hope you're having a wonderful start to the week!
Did you notice all the sunlight in these images? Yep. Summer has arrived!! Happy dance!!

That's a great festival!
Beautiful colors :)
This weekend I have, for the first time in my life, eaten lavender cookies!
Happy summer!
Lovely. It looks like Gail's Autumn Joy with a splash of lavendar.
I'm doing the happy dance with you. Happy summer, happy Tuesday.
You find the BEST colors! If only it weren't rare..... Nice pattern, too.
What a gorgeous color combo! Very evocative of summer to me.
Yarn and lav lov.
Congrats to your friend-- that's really exciting.
Ohhhh...gorgeous, fresh lavender! We picked fresh lavender this weekend too - I just love this time of year in Oregon. Your socks are, in a word, amazing. :)
Stunning Gail! Just stunning!
