cleaning up after last night's garden party, mopping the kitchen floor (this makes me happy), knitting, blogging, bastille day festivities at pix patisserie!
Is that an orchid? Let's see, I baked a blueberry coffee cake and have yet to fix a salad to take to a BBQ 25-year reunion of DD1's GS trip to Europe with 10 other then-teenagers. Should be fun to see how they've changed since we haven't! ;) (DD can't come as she's in Chicago and was already here once this year for DD2's wedding. Choices....) HOpe you're having the same nice weather we are! Finally!
My best friend flew in from Texas and surprised me for my 40th birthday (next week) by spending the weekend with me antique shopping, drinking coffee and going out to eat with my gal pals and sister!! My kick-arse hubby watched the kiddos and I played all weekend - guilt free.
Would you believe I have not touched a knitting needle since Friday!

Lovely flower. Sunday we had a little party for our daugther, so Saturday was house cleaning day haha.

Breakfast with family at lakeside. Shop with teenagers. Wedding on the beach and dance all night.
