Socktober is almost over and I'm still casting on!!
These are a test knit for the lovely Anne over at Knitspot.
These are her Cinder Block socks, and the yarn is STR...a rare gem. I know...I'm a poopster!!
I love how the cool blues and eggplant colors complement the warm harvest tones.
The leaves fall, the wind blows, and the farm country slowly changes
from the summer cottons
into its winter wools.

Those colors are SO saturated! Gorgeous. It's fun to see them.
This pattern looked fantastic while Anne was knitting her pair for David. So...why, oh why is this a rare gem? If you asked Tina, in your very best BFF way.....do you think it could be a special "Poopy Gail" colorway???
Hah - bet you thought I'd just give you grief in verbal form!(Maybe it is "who" you know, and who's BFF they are)
Very pretty! How do you get these rare gems anyhow, you lucky duck?
Gorgeous! How did I not know you do test knitting???? Ever interested in more?
amazing color AGAIN! I cannot find the rare gem yarn. I have googled it and looked on the website you referred me to but I could not locate it. I did however buy three skeins on yarn that I just love. Help.....thanks
Beautiful warm and cool colors contrast- it looks so lovely.
Pretty and bright.
That phrase absolutely nails it on the head. We just weathered the big windstorm that raged across the midwest and my beautiful maples have been stripped to the bone. November sets in.
