That yarn is perfectly sea shell. I've never seen a stitch pattern like that. It's really interesting and pretty. If I ever get my sock mojo back (and i can feel it creeping up on me) this will have to be on the list. Thanks for the link.

First let me say how much I enjoy your photos, especially of the socks. The colors & patterns are truly inspiring.
I am working on a pair of South Fork socks because of these pictures! I'm using STR Sock Candy. Question--the slipped stitch causes a buckle in the fabric since it has to pull so far. Is it supposed to do that?? I'm experimenting with a double yo on Row 1 so that it gives a little more length to that stitch. I think I like that better.
Maybe because the yarn is cotton, not wool, is why it needs a little more 'ease'. What do you think?
