regarding adventures

uh-oh.

no knitting post this week!

i've been distracted by capturing the adventures of ladybugs in the peonies...

and baking those cookies...and photographing them...and eating them...

...then running off all that gooey nutella goodness...

...and there might've been a little cat herding, too...

regarding chocolate

Chocolate chips + molten nutella + sea salt = deliriously delish!

Yep...you read that right...molten nutella...in the middle of the cookie. 

I kid you not...nutella...smack dab in the middle.

I wish I had pics to show you of the gooey nutella, 

but my taste tester couldn't wait for me to get my camera's white balance set,

and just kept eating!! ;)

Per Ambitious Kitchen, I added both semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips, and dark chocolate chunks 

(I didn't have my glasses on while shopping...dangerous biz).

"Eating chocolate" is definitely at the top of my to do list today!!

I'm pretty sure after one of these cookies I will be useless for anything else anyway!

Put “eat chocolate” at the top of your list of things to do today. 

 That way, at least you’ll get one thing done.

i have plans this weekend...we're going to a Patsy Cline musical revue here, dinner with the family on Saturday, and breakfast with a friend that i haven't seen in an age on
Sunday...i'm so looking forward to catching up with her.

holidaze

hello! what do we have here?

a little progress on the Holidaze socks.

i took a macaron baking class this past weekend. the first try wasn't picture perfect,

but very yummy and they disappeared fast. 

who knew it was so difficult to pipe 1 1/2 inch circles??

did i tell you? fifteen more sleeps until i leave for MSWF!! 

it's their 40th year!!
